Therapy for the messy, meaningful parts of being human.

You don't have to have it all figured out. We can start wherever you are.

Children • Teens • Adults • Couples • Families

Compassionate care. Real conversations. Meaningful change.

You don't have to figure it all out alone.

        Life can feel heavy sometimes.

Maybe you're overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a difficult transition, struggling in a relationship, or trying to understand what's happening with your child.

Therapy gives you a place to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and figure out what comes next.

At Play Haven Counseling, we'll work together to understand where you are, identify where you'd like to go, and find realistic ways to get there.

Hi, I'm Trish

I’m an open, compassionate, and neurodivergent-affirming therapist who believes therapy should feel human.

I know how hard it can be to reach out for help because I’ve been on the other side of the therapy room myself. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to share the parts of your life that may feel messy, complicated, or difficult to explain.

My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your whole self—without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I’ll listen, support you, offer new perspectives, and gently challenge you when it can help you move toward your goals.

And while therapy can involve difficult conversations, I believe there should still be room for humor, connection, and joy along the way.

Therapy should give you more than a place to vent.

UNDERSTAND YOURSELF

Make sense of your patterns, experiences, emotions, and the “why” behind how you respond.

CREATE CHANGE

Build practical skills, tools, and perspectives that carry beyond the therapy room.

FEEL SUPPORTED

Have a space where you can be honest, vulnerable, and fully yourself without judgment.

The goal isn't perfection.

It's progress.

Sometimes progress looks like…

  • setting a boundary

  • Responding differently

  • understanding yourself in a new way

Small moments add up

Ready to take the first step?

You don't have to know exactly what you need before reaching out. We can start wherever you are.
